Carnívora is a collaborative art project that explores cultural, geographical, political, psychological and biological aspects of food.
The project is a collaboration between Dana Prieto, Katheryn Wabegijig, Sooyeong Lee, Tarin Mead and Lisa Myers. Together they research, gain food related skills, cook and connect with food professionals and organizations. They have developed a series of workshops and lessons with farmers, hunters, cooks, butchers, healers and artists. The resulting research and experimentations have been exhibited in December 2015 at 26 Exhibition Space, Toronto. Carnivora continues to research and work individually as well as collaboratively.
